At A Child’s Place it is our goal to help children build their own inner controls so that they will become self-disciplined individuals able to lead a full life and maintain healthy relationships. We have four simple rules for behavior which we expect to be followed:

  1. You may not hurt other people’s bodies or feelings.
  2. You may not hurt yourself.
  3. You may not destroy or damage school property or the property of others.
  4. You may not say, “You can’t play.”

We help our students to internalize the rules by direct experience and ongoing discussion related to these experiences.
